Every Tacit OS account starts free. There is no trial clock: the free plan is the plan until you choose to upgrade, and you can run your truck on it indefinitely.

Enter your email and a password, then confirm the email we send you. The confirmation is required before the account is active.

Pick your role
Carrier if you hold (or are getting) operating authority, including owner-operators. Dispatcher if you book freight for carriers. Driver if you drive for someone else. The role decides which dashboard you see; it can be corrected later by support.

Finish your profile
Carriers add the company name, USDOT and MC numbers and the first truck and driver. Dispatchers add their business details. Drivers can stop here and use the free tools immediately.
Invited by a carrier? Use the link in the invitation email instead of signing up on your own; it joins you to their account as a team member with the permissions they chose.
