Carrier Suite and up

Driver settlements, pay stubs and payroll export

Settlements compute each driver's pay for the period from their delivered loads and pay type, with deductions, advances and reimbursements, then export payroll-ready. Tacit prepares the settlement; your payroll provider pays the people.

Carrier Suite and up

This feature is part of Carrier Suite ($399.99/month) and the plans above it. Driver pay types can be set on the driver record on any plan; running settlements and exporting payroll is Carrier Suite. Sign in to see whether your plan includes it.

  1. 1

    Set each driver's pay

On the driver record: per mile (deadhead included), percentage of linehaul, per leg or hourly, plus detention and stop pay. Only the owner, Admin and Accounting see this.

  2. 2

    Let the period fill

Loads count toward the period they were delivered in, in your timezone. The pay calendar in Settings decides period length and pay day.

  3. 3

    Review and approve

Open the period: every load, every leg, every deduction and advance per driver. Approve. Approved → paid; Paid is the only lock.

  4. 4

    Export

Payroll-ready export for your payroll provider, and a pay stub per driver designed in Accounting › Templates.

A load recorded against the wrong driver pays the wrong person. Dispatch owns that field; the settlement reads it.
