Assign a driver and truck

Pick the driver against real hours, pair the truck the ELD is actually in, and the load moves to Assigned. Nothing is sent to the driver yet.

Where to find it

    Check hours first

    Dispatch › Driver HOS shows each driver's remaining drive time, 14-hour window and weekly cycle from the connected ELD. If the run does not fit, change the run, not the log.

    Assign on the load

    Open the load, choose the driver and the truck. The truck you pick is the unit whose ELD position Tacit OS watches for this load.

  3. 3

    Confirm the unit

    If the driver swaps trucks, change it on the load, or arrival never fires and the map tracks the wrong truck.

Driver pay is hidden from the dispatch role by design. Putting the right driver on the load is what decides who gets paid for it.
