HaulCheck answers the two questions you must settle before you call a broker back: is this company safe to haul for, and does this rate make money for this truck.
- 1
Enter the broker
Type the MC number. HaulCheck pulls the FMCSA record: operating authority status, bond or trust on file, insurance, and a trust score. An inactive authority or a missing bond is a PASS regardless of rate.
- 2
Enter the lane and rate
Origin, destination, equipment and the posted all-in rate. The engine computes total miles including deadhead from where the truck sits today.
- 3
Read the verdict
TAKE clears your cost per mile with margin. NEGOTIATE is close and shows the number that would work, with a script. PASS loses money or fails the authority check.
- 4
Convert to Load
On a TAKE, one click creates the load with the customer, lane, rate and equipment already filled in.
The verdict judges the posted rate. Do not add detention or lumpers you hope to bill; accessorials are earned at delivery and never part of the decision.
Lane intelligence under the verdict shows median and percentile rates per mile from loads actually paid on Tacit OS, not from postings.
