Everything downstream is built from this form: the dispatch sheet, the map route, the ETA, the detention clock, the invoice and the driver's settlement. A load built right is one nobody touches again until delivery.
- 1
Customer
Pick the firm you will invoice. Create it inline with Quick Setup by MC or DOT number if it is new.
- 2
Load Number
Use the broker's load or PO reference. Their accounts payable matches your invoice to it, and the driver is asked for it at the gate.
- 3
Status
Pending until a driver is chosen, Assigned once you know who runs it. Pending loads show under Load Risks on the Command Center.
- 4
Origin and destination
Full street addresses with pickup and delivery dates and appointment times. The address places the geofence that drives automatic arrival, the dwell clock and the ETA.
- 5
Intermediate stops
Add every extra pickup or drop as its own stop, in order. Each gets its own arrival and departure.
- 6
Rate, commodity, weight, equipment
As the rate confirmation states them.
- 7
Special Instructions
Gate codes, check-in steps, references, detention terms. This text travels on the dispatch sheet.
- 8
Upload the rate confirmation
From the load page, immediately. It travels with the load to billing.
A city-only address puts the geofence in the wrong place: arrival never fires and detention cannot be proven. Type the street address, then nudge the pin on the map if it lands on the wrong gate.
